Basic Instrument Tuition

If you’re looking to get some basic guitar or keyboard skills down, this is the course you need.

We can focus on how to practice, what to practice and what you should expect from the time spend on it.

Keyboard

Having a familiarity with your MIDI keyboard will help you write music quicker, in the way you want, rather than double-clicking notes in a piano roll. Just being comfortable in front of a keyboard will reveal your hidden music powers.

Guitar

Guitars are probably the worlds most popular instrument thanks to it’s portability and relatively short time to get results (its pretty easy to play a few open chords). We can work on your confidence with the guitar, how you want to improve and what your current end-game is.

Bass Guitar

Oh man, bass guitars are so much fun! If you want to learn how to make the most of your bass guitar (technique, ideal fingering, maybe a touch of slapping?) you need this course.

Drums / Percussion

Learning drum basics will help you get more realistic drum patterns in your DAW, and having a few percussion instruments lying around your studio is always great for adding a human-touch to your beats or songs. Even if you don’t use what you recorded, you can probably convert it to MIDI! Let’s talk drums and percussion.

Synth Sound Design

Sound design in synthesisers is a BIIIIG world of abstract audio madness, and while it starts simple, it quickly becomes complex with modulations, treatments and stabilisers. We can start at the bottom of this world with a simple sine kick and work towards the ambient, dub-jungle, colour-bass or hyper-pop sounds you seek.
