‘UGLIES’ Preset Pack for THUMP ONE
Here in the labs at Large Towers we like to make beautiful noises to celebrate the joy of living and the beauty of humanity. And some days we recognise that living like this, in broken political systems, broken healthcare systems and broken housing systems, feels and sounds very different to joy and beauty.
This sound pack I made for THUMP ONE contains a touch of this tragedy, as well as a sense of the overbearing misery we hold inside us, behind the faces of joy we present to each other. I think it captures the daily discombobulation most of us experience between the moments when we have forgotten.
